FAQs

Questions we answer most often.

Everything from haulage pricing and port collections to container conditions and modular build lead times. If you cannot find what you need, please get in touch.

Haulage & Transport

What areas do you cover?

We operate nationwide from our Southampton base, with particular strength across the South Coast, Midlands, London and the Home Counties. Regular routes include Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Bristol, Birmingham and beyond.

Can you handle abnormal or oversized loads?

Yes, through our partner network we can arrange escorted loads, wide loads and specialist trailer configurations. Tell us the dimensions and weight and we will plan the route, permits and timings.

Are your vehicles tracked?

Our fleet is GPS-tracked so we can give realistic ETAs and proactively notify you if traffic or port delays affect the schedule.

Shipping Containers

Do you sell new or used containers?

Both. We stock new one-trip containers and quality used units in 10ft, 20ft and 40ft standard and high-cube sizes. Every used container is inspected before it leaves the yard.

Can you deliver and position a container on my site?

Yes. Our hiab-equipped lorries can offload and place containers on level, accessible ground. We will confirm access requirements before booking so there are no surprises on delivery day.

What condition can I expect from a used container?

Used containers are wind- and watertight with intact floors, doors and seals. We grade them clearly so you know exactly what you are buying. Photos are available on request.

Do I need planning permission for a container?

Planning rules vary by council and use. A container used for storage on private land often falls under permitted development, but commercial or residential use may require permission. We recommend checking with your local authority.

Modular Homes & Offices

How long does a modular build take?

Most container conversions are completed in 6–12 weeks from signed drawings, depending on size, specification and supplier lead times for fixtures. Much of the work happens off-site, so on-site disruption is minimal.

Can you connect electrics, plumbing and heating?

Yes. Our modular builds are fully serviced. We can arrange connection to mains water, drainage and electrics, plus heating and cooling options including air-source units.

Are your modular buildings insulated?

All year-round modular homes and offices are insulated to residential standard. We use high-performance insulation in walls, roof and floor to keep running costs low.

Quotes, Orders & Payment

How do I get a quote?

Use the Get a Quote form, call or email us with the details. For haulage we need origin, destination, load details and dates. For containers we need size, condition and delivery postcode. For modular builds, a brief description and site photos help.

How long is a quote valid?

Most quotes are valid for 30 days. Prices for imported containers or long-haul transport can move with fuel and freight markets, so we will flag any change before you confirm.

What are your payment terms?

New clients usually pay in advance for small haulage jobs and container purchases.

What is your cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a booked haulage slot are non-refundable. Container and modular orders are subject to the supplier's terms once fabrication or collection has begun.

Still have a question?

We are happy to talk through your specific haulage, container or modular building requirements and give you a clear, no-obligation quote.
